JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
OPENING DATE: JUNE 20, 2012
CLOSING DATE: JULY 5, 2012

POSITION: Night House Technician
LOCATION: Canku Teca Treatment Center
SUPERVISOR: Executive Director

JOB SUMMARY: The technician assumes primary responsibility for monitoring of client activities during shift hours. Supervision of residential clients and provision for safety are primary functions of this position. In addition, the manager monitors the physical plant to assure client safety and comfort. The technician also provides Para-professional client support services and monitors for crisis situations. Cleaning of the building is a major function of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Academic: High school graduate or GED
Experience: Knowledge of Native American customs and treatment programs; General maintenance abilities, able to communicate orally and in writing. If “recovering” must demonstrate one year of continuous abstinence.

CREDENTIALS: Prefer First Responder Training/First Aid
Any acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered.
This position is filled according to applicable Indian preference guidelines.
