2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR

OPENING DATE: June 1, 2012 CLOSING DATE: Open until filled
POSITIONS: Certified K-8 Teacher (2 positions), Certified Special Education Teacher, Certified Computer
Teacher/Technology Coordinator, and Certified Academic Coach
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts or Master Degree in Education. Valid Arizona Department of Education
certification appropriate to teaching assignment. Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card. Knowledge of Hopi/language
culture preferred. Must have or obtain CPR and First Aid certification by September 1st of current school year. Must
have valid Arizona Driver’s license. Must pass criminal background checks by state, federal, and Hopi Tribe. As a
minimum qualification, applicant’s background checks must demonstrate successful, positive, multi-year employment and
performance of duties at each of applicant’s last 5 years of employment
STARTING SALARY: Certified Staff Salary Schedule 2012-2013 [Salary will be based on education and
experience]
